A perfect start to the British Championship at Warden Law.
We hit the ground running from the outset, qualifying P1 in our group and P2 overall, securing pole position for the opening heat. A strong first race saw us bring it home in P2, setting the tone for the rest of the weekend. Heat 2 was even better though — starting from P2, we delivered a controlled and confident drive to take the win.
Finals day brought completely different conditions as the rain arrived. In a wet Superheat A, we started from pole and led the majority of the race, eventually crossing the line P2 on the road, but a post-race technical disqualification ahead promoted us to the win — putting us on pole in the best possible position heading into the final.
With the track drying for the final, it was all to play for. A tough start dropped us from pole to P5 at Turn 1, but the fight back was immediate. We worked our way through the field with strong pace, linking up with Austin to break clear from the pack. Taking the lead mid-race, we managed the gap, absorbed the pressure, and brought it home for the win.
Maximum points secured and a huge statement to kick off the championship — a massive result that puts us in a strong position heading into the rest of the season.
Huge thanks to the team for another mega job in changeable conditions, and everyone at home for their support.
