RMC UKC Winter Trophy Mini Champion! 🏆

I am absolutely thrilled to take my first National Mini Max win! This is exactly the kind of great start to the year we were looking for.

The final was incredibly intense, but we had unbelievable pace. After dropping down to 6th place in the opening stages, I just kept my head down, focused on making up places, and steadily moved my way up the order. The kart felt amazing—we set multiple purple sectors and purple laps as we carved through the pack, eventually finishing the race with the overall fastest lap.

Everything changed in the final four laps, but unfortunately, it came with some real heartbreak for the team. In the closing stages, a back-marker suddenly swerved right across the track and made heavy contact with the race leader—my teammate, Logan Rolfe. It instantly ended his race. That same back-marker then hit me as well, but thankfully we got off incredibly lightly with just a bent axle.

Despite the damage, I managed to take the lead on Lap 11 and stretch a comfortable gap to the finish line. While I’m over the moon with the victory, I am absolutely gutted not to be joined on the podium by Logan. He drove a fantastic race, and we both deserved to be up there celebrating together.
