Thatās it. The most intense week is over, and it didnāt end even close to the way we wanted. We are however immensely proud to have represented JAG Rotax and Team UK for the second time.
Our pace has been incredible all week. We have set purple sectors and laps in every session. The event record was set in our wheel tracks, with our lap just 1/1000 of a second slower - a full 2/10ths faster than any other lap of the week. We raced hard, and came away with a P2 in the heats and the win in the prefinal which Iām proud of. We showed we can mix it with the best Minimax drivers in the world, many of whom were 2 years older!
The final had other plans however. Two other drivers came together and clipped my rear wheel as I passed through. I was then tagged by a following driver and ended in the barrier. I would have been through in third and in the race, and from that point am confident I could have contested for the win.
I eventually crossed the line in P25 after clawing back a few places, but this is in no way representative of the pace, the package, or the race craft Iāve shown on track all week.
We didnāt get the finish we wanted, or that the package we put together deserved, but huge thanks go to the KR-Sport dream team of Mike data and Connor on setup for a great job all week.
We will be back for Portimao, Portugal for the RMCGF 2026 we hope, stronger, faster and more hungry to win.
See you all back at the track in 2026. š
